Membership is available to anyone from the age of 11 years up and everyone can benefit from coaching suitable to them. St Mary's Richmond AC provides competition opportunities for our members throughout the year, and actively encourages the membership to compete in order to realise their goals and achieve their full potential.

On the track we have teams in the Southern Men’s and Women’s Leagues, National Young Athletes League, Rosenheim League, and Southern Counties Veterans League. In addition to the County, Area and National Championships, there are also numerous open meetings and specialist event meets such as those organised by the British Milers Club that are supported by our athletes.

In the winter the distance runners compete in cross country leagues as well as the various Championship races.

Like Richmond & Twickenham AC, the name of the club before it relocated to St Mary's College, St Mary's Richmond AC has close ties with the cross-country and road-running club Ranelagh Harriers. Ranelagh members can join and compete on the track for St Mary's Richmond, provided that they do not take part in track competition for any other club.
