Jack Petchy Award Nominations

SMRAC are looking for nominations for a Jack Petchey Award to
recognise a member (age 11-25) who has demonstrated one, or more
of the following: supported others, shown commitment to the club,
worked hard to achieve personal goals or overcome challenges.
This summer members Arthur and Nina enabled the club to use
their £250 grants from the Jack Petchey Foundation to purchase
training equipment to benefit many SMRAC members. Previous grants
have allowed inspirational speakers to visit the club and paid
for team building trips to Nando's.
Please email your suggestion with the young athletes name and why
you are nominating them (just a few words will do). Deadline
this Friday 19th October. Nominations will be considered by the
SMRAC Committee and the winner announced next month.
